Entrance of Archaeological Park

The project aims to redevelop the access to the Archaeological Park of Ostia Antica, from the Tiber River, to improve accessibility and hospitality.
The project involved the construction of a public pedestrian entrance from the quay directly to the archaeological area; a short path inside the area connets this access to the central section of Ostia Antica.
The leveling and construction of the walking surfaces involves the construction of beaten earth and/or aggregates with different granulometry. Cor-ten steel plates were used for the construction of the perimeter.
This material has allowed the creation of a perimeter: the visitor is accompanied by the pedestrian area to the driveway.
