The consolidation and restoration of the surfaces of the temple of Minerva Medica was carried out with the support of specialized restorers. After the reintegration of the tambour, a dull one was operated to give a chromatic rebalancing to the intervention. Particular attention was paid to creating the interlocking between old and new, in order to guarantee a continuity of reading of the wall texture. The restoration work carried out has made all the internal surface of the factory safe. Careful cleaning was carried out with hand washing and brushing and with cycles of atomized water. Work was done on the marble fragments with compresses and micro-plastering, all the layers of plaster were consolidated, including the rare fragments of the original decoration. In order to secure the entire material structure of the monument, various interventions were carried out to hinder the formation of weed vegetation which unfortunately is the main cause of the monument's deterioration. Finally, the rainwater drainage system was redesigned.
