The consolidation and restoration of the surfaces of the temple of Minerva Medica was carried out with the support of specialized restorers. After the reintegration of the tambour, a whitewhashing was made to give a chromatic balance to the intervention. An important goal was the recognition of the modern restoration, to ensure continuity of reading of the wall texture. The restoration work carried out has made the entire surface of the building safe. The careful cleaning of the surfaces was carried out with washing and brushing by hand and with cycles of nebulised water. Work was done on the marble fragments with compresses and micro-plastering, all the layers of plaster were consolidated, including the rare fragments of the original decoration.
The rainwater drainage system has been redesigned to avoid runoff on restored surfaces.
