A61s starts the survey on archeological site of Faragola

A few weeks ago the research and surveys on the field started for the realization of the executive project about the Faragola's roman villa.
The archaeological site of Faragola, a notable example of late antique architecture in southern Italy, suffered a devastating fire in 2017, which caused the collapse of the structure caused by many sectors of the villa, as well as serious damage to ancient emergencies.
The project has two purposes: to reconfigure the roof structure and to protect and restore the ancient structures damaged by fire.
A61s's survey was fundamental to define procedures and operating methods, and to reflect on the fragility of the cultural heritage and landscapes to be protected.
